Theo Angelopoulos Died of Suffered Serious Head Injury Due To Accidents

Theo Angelopoulos died at the age of 76 years because of an accident. The accident occurred when Angelopoulos was involved in shooting his latest film The Other Sea.
Angelopoulos suffered serious head injuries and died in hospital after hit by a motorcycle while crossing the road to the location of the road near Pier Piraeus, Athens. Motorcyclists were also injured and hospitalized.
Theo Angelopoulos is a famous film director of Greek origin and is currently making his new movie The Other Sea.
Angelopoulos has won several awards at the majority film festivals in Europe during his career for over 40 years. He won a major award the Cannes Film Festival, Palme d’Or for the film ‘Eternity and a Day’. He also won the Grand Jury Prize at the Cannes Film Festival for the film Ulysses’ Gaze in 1995.
