Nicol Williamson dies at age 75 years, diagnosed with Esophagus Cancer. Nicol Williamson has long struggled against Esophagus Cancer, At age 75 he died of this cancer.
Oesophageal cancer is a cancer attacking esofgus (a hollow tube that transports food and liquids from the throat to the stomach). The esophagus brings the food you ingested into the digestive tract to digest.
Esophagus Cancer usually begins in cells in the esophageal tissue. Esophageal cancer generally occurs in the bottom of the esophagus, but can occur anywhere along the esophagus.
Luke, Williamson’s son, states that his father died on December 16 in Amsterdam. Nicol Williamson is a British actor known for his role as Merlin in the Excalibur film in 1981. Williamson get nominated for a Tony Award in 1966 for his role in the drama of Osborne’s Inadmissible Evidence. He was re-nominated in 1974 for the drama of Anton Chekov. Williamson has starred in dozens of films but is more famous in the world stage. John Osborne said Williamson as the greatest actor since Marlon Brando era.
