Someone often play computer games with confidence train brain functions. Apparently, the game does not make the brain more intelligent.
Within six weeks of the study, experts found that the person who play online games, which are aimed at the development of cognitive abilities, it does not grow wiser.

Researchers attended by representatives of audience research activities Bang Goes the theory BBC. More than 8600 people aged 18-60 years were invited to play online games Intelligence brain research to the development of memory, thinking, as well as other opportunities for at least 10 minutes every day, three times a week.

They were compared with more than 2700 people who do not play games any intelligence but spends equal time on the use of the Internet and asked to answer general questions of knowledge. All participants are invited to do IQ tests before and after the experiment.

Researchers say that people who are brain games intelligence does not show better results after six weeks compared with those who only consume the Internet. In some tests, people who use the Internet have higher values than those who worked on the game. This study was funded by the BBC and available online in the journal Nature, Tuesday (20 / 4).

“If you play good reason, it really does not matter,” said Adrian Owen, deputy director of Cognition and Brain Science Group in the British Medical Research Department, as well as the lead researcher. “But if you expect to be able to develop IQ, our data show, this does not happen,” he added.

One of the producers of this brain game told BBC, that this study can not be used for their product. Maddox-Aldrich, director general of Posit Science says that the game company, where some of the games, which are funded by the Ministry of Health, has been shown to develop intellectual capacity.

“The conclusion they wanted to say that the analogy can not run 1 mile in four minutes, which means that it would be impossible,” Aldrich unjar in a statement.

Computer games can be used on the Internet and on the market, companies such as Nintendo. The game is expected to improve memory, thinking patterns, as well as exchange of cognitive abilities, which are millions of people around the world, and several studies have found that this game has an impact.

“There is very little evidence of the skills that are used in this game can work in the real world,” said Kramer, art, professor of psychology and neuroscience at the University of Illinois. He is not related to work and has no relation to any company that makes learning to play the brain.

Cramer has some reservations about the methodology of the study and told the BBC a few games this intelligence had little impact in the development of cognitive abilities. “Learning something concrete,” he said. “If you use a component that is present in the real world, any transfer will be slightly up. ”

Instead of playing Brain Intelligence, Cramer advises the public to do some exercises. Kramer said that physical activity may cause a new connection to neural and production of new brain cells. “Fitness can change the building blocks of the structure of the brain,” says Kramer.

Additionally, some games and Brain Training better than others. Cramer said a few games with Post science has shown modest benefits, including increased memory of parents.

Some intelligence experts say that the game is useful only if you are not satisfied.

“If you determine the level of the game with a very high level, where you can not answer questions that often, it seems a pity that this game can be useful,” said Philip Adey, retired professor of psychology and neuroscience at King’s College London.

If people like this game brain, Adey said that they may feel disabled and want to play another video game.

Adie said that people should consider learning a new language or implementation, if they really want to improve their mental abilities.

“To stimulate the intellect, must be a real challenge,” Adey said, adding that computer games are no easier way to record.

“Being smart to work hard”, he says.Inilah
