PayPal is very unsafe.
I purchased an e-pad for $120 from a seller in China and paid by PayPal.
The item took a long tiome to arrive but when it did it was totally dead. I am an EE and I could not get it to boot up, ever.
I checked the PAYPAL FAQ and it said to sort out the problem directly witht he seller via e-mail and to be polite about it. So I tried. We discussed who pays for the return postage and he said that it was his policy not to pay. Hr advertises that policy so don’t do business with him if you don’t trust him. Silly me for trusting him anyway. So I sent it back via Australia post which cost me AUD 24. THen he denied ever receiving it back. There is no tracking number because he would not pay for registered mail. Neither would PayPal, and neither would I when I am already down $120. Now PAYPAL will do nothing. It trusts the seller and he will do nothing.
I lose $147 for trusting PayPal and the seller.
PayPal rhetoric about is service being safe and guaranteed is absolute nonsense.
It is better to use any method other than PayPal
